About

Ilioki is a queer artist and soul worker based in Brixton, London where they hold a sanctuary space for exploring creativity, spirituality, and sensual, embodied practice.

Their art/soul work explores the sensual queer body through painting, drawing, writing and ritual performance.

They have over 20 years’ experience of creating sacred space in a wide variety of contexts woven alongside their art practice, with an MFA in fine art as well as training and experience in counselling, pastoral care, spiritual accompaniment, leading retreats, and public speaking.

Their spiritual practice draws from pagan, primal shamanic and Christian mystical traditions and particularly focuses on fully embodied soul work – including work with sexual and sensual energy and queer spirituality.

They have many years’ experience working alongside other creatives to encourage artists to flourish in their work as well as working with LGBT+ people to enable engagement with spiritual life and practices, particularly amongst those who have been alienated by religious institutions.

Ilioki is available for art commissions as well as facilitating soul/body work in one-to-one meditation and soul accompaniment or with groups and they also offer bespoke queer rituals for celebrations and rites of passage such as transitions and commitment ceremonies.

Please get in touch if you would find it helpful to have a conversation about your own creative and/or spiritual life or visit the sanctuary space in Brixton for guided meditation, spiritual accompaniment, or simply a place to be still and reconnect to your deeper self.
